Meeting Notes of 2003 Nov 18^th

• Next meeting is Tuesday, December 2
  We will be having a bike fit and bike maintenance talk. Since there is usually no security, just bring your bike up. If you can't bring your bike try to at least bring a tire and tire levers for a tube changing race (and for all of us who don't know how to change a tube, here's your chance to learn).
• End of the year party!
  Tentatively scheduled for Sunday, December 7 since finals do not start until the following Wednesday. So far all we know is that the party will be occurring at someone's place instead of a restaurant and will start sometime in the afternoon and go until ????? That way if you have to study on Sunday you can still come for part of the party.
• Send creative new t-shirt ideas out to the listserve.
• Allan gave a training lecture on transitions. Notes will be posted on the website.

Meeting Notes of 2003 Nov 4^th

• IM Swim Meet
  This Thursday at 7pm -- warm-ups are at 6:30pm Also, there will be a signup sheet with our team's name on it and you can change your events until 6:45pm at the meet.
• Swim workouts
  Starting next week there will be 2 swim workouts a week.
  Our regular Friday time at 5pm will still be in effect until UT swim meets take over which is the beginning of December.
  Also, we will be having swim workouts on Mondays, 5pm at TSC.
• Allan's lecture on nutrition will be posted onto the website within a day or two so ya'll can check for that info there. Also on the website are some articles that Jeff posted.

• Intramural Swim Meet
  Info: Thursday, November 6 @ TSC
  Warm-ups at 6:30pm -- Meet starts at 7pm
  • If interested in participating in the IM swim meet please sign up at Gregory Gym under Texas Triathletes
  • This event is going to be a great time
  • Extra incentive: pay only $5 and you get a free T-shirt
• Weekly Group Run
  Info: Sundays, 11am @ Town Lake (meet at Mopac and 1st Street by the tennis courts, high school, and water fountains -- north side of the river)
  If anyone is going on a run at other times during the week feel free to send out an email
• Dues
  • $10 w/o shirt
  • $20 w/ shirt
